Carbon Footprint

Carbon Footprint

A carbon footprint is a measure of our activities and rates it in a specific decimal number and it calculates the huge impact on our life. In this essay, I will show you how to calculate and measure the level of your carbon footprint.
We can measure our carbon footprint from different of sites, one of them is www.carbonfootprint.com/carbonfootprint.com. This website asks you several questions about your life and what kind of activities you do. A carbon footprint ID made up of sum of two sections, the primary footprint and the secondary footprint. The primary footprint is a measure of our direct emissions of Co2 from the burning of fossil fuels and energy. The secondary footprint is a measure of indirect Co2 emissions from the whole lifecycle of all what we do.
I got a rate of 2.8 from another website called HerosoftheUAE.com although my classmates got higher bands then me which were 3.0, 3.2 and 3.5 Carbon footprints because I have a smaller family than them. This time I got a middle rate range in my group because of several reasons, which shows the different rate of shopping, using AC at home and using washing and drying machine than my other classmates.
In conclusion, the carbon footprint has a huge effect on our world which makes a lot of people think which also controls the greenhouse effect. So we have to hold a bit on our hands and try to decrease our rate in level of carbon emissions.
