Water is very important element on the earth and the humans can’t live without it because it helps people to clean their body from toxic elements. As the world goes forward, Fresh water is not available everywhere, that means the pollution is in increasing on the earth, especially in the poor areas. In this article am going to write about the water problems and the possible solutions for it.

There are many problems for water shortage to do. The main problem is that many countries control water system managed by companies like Suez and other strong companies. These companies privatize this service because they were short in money for the people to pay. In India, a lot of people were banned from getting water, so they go to drink it from dirty rivers and they get sick and their children also get a lot of diseases. If this scenario continues our world will be damaged badly.
There are so many solutions for this problem to solve this problem. The first one and the main is that people should fight against governments and companies that take away the water from them and force them to end it by making protests and things like that makes government make the water affordable or free for everyone. People also could creative in water conservation by using modern or old techniques to get and collect fresh water.
In the end, water is not for government. It’s for everyone. Companies shouldn’t take away water from us because its dangerous for our children to face if water is unavailable. It could save a lot of lives.

Global Warming

Global Warming: local solutions

As we know the global warming is our present and future issue. We suppose to start changing some things, specially our way of living. In this post ill mention some problems caused by global warming and ill give some solutions to solve these problems.
One of the main reasons of this problem is the increasing in the population. Population is in increase every single year. The demand on food, water and vulnerable natural is rising. It puts more pressure on the earth, which it leads us to build more factories to supply and cover the increasing of demands. An additional problem is new technology. As mentioned in the film of “an Inconvenient Truth” old habits plus and new technology equals dramatically altered consequences such as the atomic bomb. Another issue is our way of thinking. We keep waiting until it’s too late and something goes wrong.
Although these problems are very serious, we can take some steps to solve the problem. One solution is, to change our luxurious living style. For example we can reuse the furniture for 10 years instead of keep changing the furniture every 3 years. It will reduce cutting the trees which helps to clean the environment. Another possibility is, we have to change our old habit especially in wars between us. We don’t need such as atomic bomb to solve our political issues! We can solve it in a friendly way, can’t we? Also we have to think in a different way, we have to start to think about the future and think about our next generations which it will suffer because of the shortage in food and water.
My opinion about what Al Gore said in his presentation that I couldn’t agree more, what he said is happening and it’s a fact. We feel the changes in the temperatures. We suppose to start thinking about the future.
In conclusion, it’s the pressure we are putting on the earth. The new technology we are creating might cause a global changing. Thinking about our future can help the earth from being the victim of our unstoppable needs.

Cool Cities

“Cool Cities”
Science has brought some shining ideas to put same solutions to reduces the carbon emission. Masder has cool ideas to beat the heat and build a green dream. The “Cool Cities” are the dream and the dream came true. In this blog I will describe how modern cities contribute to global warming problems and I’ll give some solutions for this problems and finally with my opinion.
The main issue that we are facing in this time is global warming and it leads to many serious problems on our planet such as, climate change, increases in sea level and many other problems. Abu Dhabi city emits more carbon dioxide everyday because of the high number of car users. The Carbon that gets out from the cars makes the earth hotter than now. Especially cities which have a lot of traffic, such as Abu Dhabi.
The shining ideas put forward solutions to reduce the carbon emissions, and this idea is cool cities. This idea is the solution for global warming. Cool cities are the cities with zero carbon emission. Al Masder will reduce the spread of carbon in the atmosphere by starting the idea in Abu Dhabi it will grow to be in the rest of the UAE.
In my point of view, Al Masder is a big jump in the UAE lifestyle. According to the National, the dream is not for all people, because most people do not have the same as others lifestyle. All in all, according to the people in the UAE, the cities will be small. Also people will not accept this idea directly.

Carbon Footprint

Carbon Footprint

A carbon footprint is a measure of our activities and rates it in a specific decimal number and it calculates the huge impact on our life. In this essay, I will show you how to calculate and measure the level of your carbon footprint.
We can measure our carbon footprint from different of sites, one of them is www.carbonfootprint.com/carbonfootprint.com. This website asks you several questions about your life and what kind of activities you do. A carbon footprint ID made up of sum of two sections, the primary footprint and the secondary footprint. The primary footprint is a measure of our direct emissions of Co2 from the burning of fossil fuels and energy. The secondary footprint is a measure of indirect Co2 emissions from the whole lifecycle of all what we do.
I got a rate of 2.8 from another website called HerosoftheUAE.com although my classmates got higher bands then me which were 3.0, 3.2 and 3.5 Carbon footprints because I have a smaller family than them. This time I got a middle rate range in my group because of several reasons, which shows the different rate of shopping, using AC at home and using washing and drying machine than my other classmates.
In conclusion, the carbon footprint has a huge effect on our world which makes a lot of people think which also controls the greenhouse effect. So we have to hold a bit on our hands and try to decrease our rate in level of carbon emissions.

Argument about Al Gore's Film

The move, “An Inconvenient Truth” of Al-gore has both positive and negative aspects. In this essay I will look at the reviews of “Inconvenient truth” film of Al-gore and I will discuss both sides of the argument.

Al Gore is trying to prove that, we are in a period of global warming, which is like trying to prove that grass is green with an abundance of evidence, or trying to kill a mosquito with an atomic bomb. Unfortunately, in addition, he is trying to get us to believe that man is responsible, and that in the United States have the ability to stop it if only we had the will, (Tony Medley) in Negative & Skeptical Reviews with rating 6/10.

Now there is no doubt we can solve this problem. In fact, we have a moral obligation to do so, (Gregg) in the film report. In “Climate Crisis” small changes to your daily routine can add up to big differences in helping to stop global warming. The time to come together to solve this problem is now.

In my opinion, I can’t agree more than what (Tony Medley) said and mentioned, because it may help people to move and look for a solution for the global warming issue. And about what (Gregg) said in his report because he didn’t like the film, it was so interesting that people couldn’t stop from watching it every day and scientists also learn from it.

Inconvenient Truth

“Inconvenient Truth”
Global warming is one of the biggest problems facing our world; we know our world is becoming warmer than before. In this movie, Al Gore talks about global warming and the effects, consequences and some possible solutions.
First, he talks about the gross percentage of the Carbon Dioxide and how it makes the temperature go up. While the temperature goes higher and higher, a lot of things change, like the weather. Sadly this change in the weather affects the animals and burn the forest, also it effects the humans and kills more than 1 billion over the world. Another thing is the sea level, as the temperatures goes up, the sea level will increase to flood a lot of the earth area. Lastly, decreasing the use of cares and replacing with bicycles as transportation that will solve the issue.
Overall, Al Gore advised us to think about our children and our world. We are also can find a lot of solutions. With new ideas and technologies with the solar power and wind pwer, we will save our plant from the global warming.
